My story when in UK (Part 2)

6-7 October 2007 (Saturday & Sunday)

We started our journey at 8.30am. First, we go to the Derwent Valley Reservoirs which located in the Derbyshire and the Peak District National Park, as per recommended by our colleagues in UK.

Beautiful sence 1 which observed at the Upper Derwent Valley.

Beautiful sence 2

Mallard ducks & me

Mallard ducks are easily recognised by the metallic green head & the curly tail feathers of the male or 'drake'. BUT... only the female makes the famous laughing "Quak-wak-wak" call - the males are much quieter.

My story when in UK (Part 1)

29 September 2007 (Saturday)

After breakfast at Pastures Lodge, we (together with Khor, one of my colleague) started our journey as plan. First, we go Rotherham (is a small city, not much heritage place can be visit), then go to city of Sheffield. I had bought a sweater in Sheffield which cost me 6 pounds at Primark (a shopping place with a lot of cheap things – the place where I bought the socks for my son last year in UK but this Primark is in Southampton City).

We went back to hotel around 7.30pm. Before this, we went to Tesco in Wath to buy food to eat (9 pcs of chicken parts for 2.75 pounds, we share half among us). I noticed the Advent “gu nen tau” size no. 4 for 6 months+ are sell over here. Cost about 4 pounds (means RM 28 per 2 units – like Malaysia packing one).

Rotherham City

Sheffield, one of the nearest big city all the way from Mexborough.
